International conference on the CBD Global Strategy for Plant Conservation

Jueves 20 de octubre de 2005
The conference (a working meeting) is being organised by the Global Partnership for Plant Conservation and will be held in the National Botanical Gardens of Ireland at Glasnevin - very close to Dublin in Ireland. From October 22nd - 25th 2005. This global partnership is an informal partnership of organisations that has been established to support the worldwide implementation of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation. The goal of the conference is to showcase successful plant conservation initiatives -that contribute to national and regional implementation of the CBD Global Strategy for Plant Conservation and to raise awareness of the GSPC amongst those who are responsible for ensuring its success! The Partnership hopes that a wide range of participants will attend - not only plant conservation practioners but also decision makers and those who influence national conservation policy at a high level.
